ABOUT US

Nepathya Foundation | नेपथ्य (formerly known as Behind the Scenes NGO) is a non profit organization with a mission to provide skill development, financial literacy and income generation opportunities to low income individuals. We are a registered Section 8 company under the Companies Act of 2013.

At Nepathya | नेपथ्य , we aim to bring all those workers to the forefront who have been left in the shadows, without due recognition and compensation. We aim to restore dignity of labour through skill development, financial training, and access to market opportunities. With a focus on inclusivity and accessibility, we bridge the gap between skills demanded and skills developed, building a more equitable future for all.

Doing ground and research work is something I wanted as part of my design process since it helps with being true to the ethics. However, in the pandemic, I deviated away from it. So, thank you for giving me this opportunity and reminding me the true purpose of design in some sense in to help.
